Finding the Midnight Burrows in Ori and the Will of the Wisps While an optional area, the Midnight Burrows do have plenty to collect. If you've followed this guide from the beginning, giving the Curious Tablet back to Tokk will complete a side quest and that will be the last thing to do in the game. One of the side quests involves making your way into the Midnight Burrows. Take this back to Tokk in Inkwater Marsh and they’ll give you a Giant Spirit Light Container. He also mentions there is a way to open the path, and it has to do with the stones behind us. You’ll find the Curious Tablet quest item. Tokk is at the rumor and says there is an artifact in the Midnight Burrows. Now, take your four keystones to the keystone gate and head through it. This will shoot you into a hallway where the Deflector Spirit Shard sits. Head back toward the beginning of the game and in the middle chamber, go through the northwest teleporter. At the top, head left and at the end of this hallway, you’ll find the fourth keystone. From the third keystone, fall through the closest teleporter and head directly north. This will spit you out near the barrier the last lever moved so quickly dash through it.įollow the teleporters here through to the end of the pathway and you’ll find the third keystone. On the other end, quickly bash off the lantern and go into the dim, white teleporter. Pull this lever and immediately jump through the teleporter to your right. You’ll find a lever near the eastern wall. Into the Burrows - Tokk will be at the entrance to Midnight Burrows. Head back out to where that tree was previously. The house is to the left of the guy that starts the tree keeper quest (Kii). This will remove a tree barrier blocking your way through the area previously. Jump across to the right and pull a lever. You’ll find the keystone where we’re at on the map below. ![]() ![]() When this spits you out on the other side, follow the path down and around. Then, jump down into the teleporter on the bottom left wall. From there, head north and take a right when you can. When it spits you out the other side, you’ll find a keystone here. The first one can be found by going through the bottom teleporter closest to the spirit well. Also interesting, notice at the start the skills say they are binded to a mouse button, E, and R, and then get corrected to Z, X, and C.It’s time to open a Keystone Gate. I was trying to find the Moki I was near to talk to, which I'm also able to do and the text displays fine. I was trying to make my way out of Mouldwood using the map to see where I am, but that's really hard completely blind and I don't know if it would even fix it if I was successful. In fact, I can still walk around, move through levels, the menus work, it's just completely dark. The light ability I just got does not light up the screen, but it still lets me use it. ![]() I exited and restarted and my screen is still fully dark. I would take damage, and then my life would immediately recover that damage. In the middle of the fight, my screen just went completely dark and I kept hearing the sound effect as if I was getting hit. I just started a combat trial in Mouldwood. I was having a good time with this game, but then I ran into a potentially game breaking bug. ![]()
